The Voyage of the Glaciers cruise to Alaska

This summer my family experienced another perfect multigenerational vacation; the Voyage of the Glaciers cruise to Alaska. Everything from the magnificent scenery and wildlife to the charm of the local people sharing their culture and history. It appeals from young to old and the memories are still topics of conversation when we get together. We visited Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway with each port offering something for everyone. A Bike & Brew Glacier View tour in Juneau for the adults, and the absolute must do for all, was the Scenic Railway linking Skagway with the Yukon. The kids loved meeting the sled dog puppies brought onboard and learned all about training them for the big races. Stargazing, culinary demonstrations, art courses, ship tours and enjoying Alaskan music and dancers kept us busy on sea days. The food is amazing…Alaskan King Crab and Salmon were enjoyed and our dinners were full of stories and laughter. Cruising is truly a vacation for the whole family.
